Supreme Court Outlaws LGBT Employment Discrimination

The United State Supreme Court today outlawed LGBT discrimination in employment based on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In a 6-3 decision written by Trump appointee Justice Neil Gorsuch, the Court said plainly, “An employer who fires an individual merely for being gay or transgender defies the law”.
